What are these Truelove dog collars made from?

These True love dog collars are made from a nylon mix fabric for strength and have a very good level of padding for extra comfort. They also have the patented 3M Scotchlite reflective material and bands built into the inner and outer parts. This classes the collar as a high vis dog collar and allows you to be seen in the dark.

What does reflective mean?

It means that any surface with a reflective material will reflect light in a more intense way back to the viewer. This Truelove reflective dog collar has a 3M scotchlite material built in to the fabric so it reflects light from street lights and car headlights -- imagine cats eyes on the road but on a dog collar.

Are they suitable for a puppy?

Yes, they are light and slightly padded so they shouldn't cause any irritation to a small dog or puppy. They are also strong and the xxs and xs sizes seem to be a popular choice for small to medium size breed puppies.

Are they suitable for a large dog?

Yes, the XL, XXL and XXXL sizes are for the large breeds. An an outdoor show, we have fitted a XXXL collar to a Leonberger.

What type of fastenings does it have?

The range of reflective dog collars have a very strong o ring metal fastening for a lead or leash. It also has a strong buckle for closing around the dog's neck. There are levels of adjustment to ensure the right fit.

How do I fit the collar?

For the best fit please choose the correct size by measuring your dog around the neck. When you have that circumference measurement, choose the best match from the drop-down options. You can also choose the colour of your choice.

Watch the video in the video tab to see how easy it is to fit the collar - you'll see that the buckle clip goes through the metal round lead ring and then clips in. There is also plenty of adjustment on the dog collars and this is also shown in the video.

How wide is the material on the collar?

The widths range from 1.5 cms/0.6 inches on the XS and XXS collars to 2.5 cms/1 inch for the XL, XXL and XXXL collars.

Where are the items shipped from and how long will they take to get to me?

All of our reflective dog collars are stored and shipped from the UK. All UK deliveries should take 2-3 working days but please allow up to 4 working days during busy periods. If you reside outside of the UK, your dog collar should be with you within 5-9 working days.

Is there a returns policy?
