How big are the clips on the puppy leads?

They are the smallest clips in the lead range at only This means they are not heavy or bulky and perfect for puppies or as a starter lead. 

How strong are the clips?

They are super strong for such a small size. They have a strong spring clip and the alloy metal can take a large pulling force. In fact, we have tested these small puppy leads on large adult dogs like labradors and they cope just fine.

How wide is the material on the lead?

The material width is 1.0 cm so it is small enough to be carried or put in a bag, but strong enough to last.

How long do the puppy leads last for?

They are tough and last a long time. We have a small dog at only a few kgs and have used this XS lead for the last 9 years. 

Can they be washed?

Yes. We'd recommend that you wash the leads by soaking them in warm, soapy water. We don't recommend that you put them in the washing machine though.

Can they be put on and taken off easily?

Yes. You simply push on the spring clip and unhook the lead from the lead clip on your dog's collar or harness.
