Why is this a good harness for large dog breeds?

The padding, reinforced straps and super-strong buckles are designed to take on some of the extra demands of walking a larger dog. The adjustment range is very big around the chest and there is also a generous size around the neck.

Are they easy to fit?

This XL dog harness is super easy to fit. If your dog doesn't mind things going over their head, you can just unclip both buckles around the chest (rear buckles) and then place it over your dog's head and refasten. To take off, just unclip the rear straps and pull off over the head.

But is there is a quick-release clip on the neck too?

Yes. If your dog is a little sensitive about things being placed over their head, you can unclip the neck on one side and place it around the neck - it takes just 3-5 seconds.

Can it be used as a running harness?

It is a really good option as a running harness as this style provides a lot of freedom around the shoulders and other important moving parts.

How can I make sure that I get the correct size?

All you need to do is measure your dog around the girth of the lower chest/rib cage as shown on the image in the size guide tab above. This is the circumference around the widest part of the chest and just behind the front legs. You can then match that size of this large dog harness with one shown in the size table.

Does this harness have a handle?

There is a reinforced handle close the top clip, which can come in very handy.

Is this harness reflective?

The harness has reflective properties built into it so it will show up in car headlights and street lights when it is dark.
