<p>They are the smallest clips in the lead range at only This means they are not heavy or bulky and perfect for puppies or as a starter lead. </p>
<h3>How strong are the clips?</h3>
<p>They are super strong for such a small size. They have a strong spring clip and the alloy metal can take a large pulling force. In fact, we have tested these small puppy leads on large adult dogs like labradors and they cope just fine.</p>
<h3>How wide is the material on the lead?</h3>
<p>The material width is 1.0 cm so it is small enough to be carried or put in a bag, but strong enough to last.</p>
<h3>How long do the puppy leads last for?</h3>
<p>They are tough and last a long time. We have a small dog at only a few kgs and have used this XS lead for the last 9 years. </p>
<h3>Can they be washed?</h3>
<p>Yes. We'd recommend that you wash the leads by soaking them in warm, soapy water. We don't recommend that you put them in the washing machine though.</p>
<h3>Can they be put on and taken off easily?</h3>
<p>Yes. You simply push on the spring clip and unhook the lead from the lead clip on your dog's collar or harness.</p>
