Meet Sid  🐾

Some dogs come into our lives quietly and become everything — and Sid is one of those dogs.

Living his best countryside life alongside his cheeky younger sister, Chica, Sid is the definition of gentle, loyal, and completely loved. From long walks across miles of open land to the little challenges he takes in his stride, his story is one that really shows the bond between a dog and their owner.

Here’s what Sid’s owner shared about him and Chica:

Sid’s Story 🐾

“Sidney is 6 years old and is the sweetest Staffordshire Bull Terrier. Chica, on the other hand, is a 3-year-old terror — what you would call a typical Staffy.

Sid is not a rescue, but he and his siblings were mistakes. His parents are both Staffies, but his mum was very young when she had her pups and, by mistake, nipped part of one of Sid's toes off his front right foot. Unfortunately, we had to have the rest of his toe removed, as he kept stubbing it.

I don't know if this has affected his foot, or if it's nothing to do with him missing a toe, but it gets very inflamed and sore at times — and this is where the boot from Wiggles and Wags comes in handy.

He has tablets from the vets which make it better for a while, and then it flares up again. So I purchased two boots, as we live in the countryside and have to wash them on a regular basis — wear one, wash one.

I have attached some photos of Sidney wearing his boot. He is not the most photogenic dog and always thinks there is an ulterior motive, like he has to do something he doesn't want to do.

And there’s also a picture of Sid with his younger sister, Chica.

I walk miles with Sid and Chica. I love them to bits — I would be lost without them. They can make me cross at times, but make me smile all the time.”
